My 1 Year Anniversary of Full Time Day Trading. 3 Years In The Business. What I Wish I Could Tell Myself Years Ago.

This industry has a lack of transparency so I'm more than happy to say I will provide lots of that throughout this post with screenshots. There are LOTS of imgur links to back what I say so it's not just words on a post expecting you to just believe what I'm typing.
This post I suppose is "Part 2" my post back in April, "After 2 years of Daytrading. 7 months full time. Here's my advice". I'm doing this to update everyone who came/comes across this in the future. Yes, it is possible. No, it won't be easy. You will pay homage to the rite of passage into this career. I'll also provide some examples of styles of trading so for the newer aspiring traders, there will be some things I rarely see discussed on forums. So here's to 1 year of Full Time Day Trading

TL;DR - You'll become desensitized to trading. Stubborn to other strategies (There are biggebaddemore lucrative strategies. Don't chase them. Why fix what's not broken? I know what works for me and I'm content with it. No strategy is better than another. It's a personal choice. ). Losing individual trades won't faze you, they're inevitable. Profiting certainly feels better. After a while, you won't be as enthralled to trade every morning, it'll become just another part of your day). Trading is just managing your money through a statistic and the medium to execute it is trading on your platform. Think: "If. Then. Because". Your trading plan should be that black and white. Ask "Why" for everything you do and use. If you can't answer it with documented results, drop it.

I get a bunch of messages all the time from people asking - . Out of those who follow me and chat me seeking further tips through my previous posts. I'll be answering the FAQ's and addressing things I see frequently in this sub as far as trading axioms
Disclaimer: I won't sugarcoat anything. I'll share my experiences and add pieces of advice I'd give to those who are currently experiencing the same thing becoming a full time day trader and what day to day life is like, the occasional distress, (DRAWDOWNS). Some of you follow my Twitter for the past few months where I post my daily watchlists with a snippet that reveals my DayTradingBuyingPower. I do this not to brag but to demonstrate that the account does yield growth, I pay myself, and there are days where the balance does not move because there was no edge. I also do this since nobody else shows their account performance. (Yes. You, Mr. YouTube gurus and wannabe gurus).
We do this for income, the numbers on our accounts are real. Treat it as such. Get your initial capital out of your account THEN try to "Scale your account" with your profits AKA The Market's Money.

I'll go over:
•FAQ's that I get in my inbox (I'm still welcome to further questions if I don't answer here)
•Decision Fatigue (You will experience this)
•The previous year (2019-2020) of ups and downs
•How to use my watchlists that I post on Twitter in the morning to your advantage
•The pivotal moment that changed my trading career (NFLX 10-17-19)
•The road to becoming a full time trader. (It won't be fun unless you're handed the money)
•You'll have a better grasp of my strategy (Between ProTip 4 and 5. ProTip 8.)

There are 10 "ProTips" throughout the post that I wish I could tell myself years back and I'll periodically throw them in here as the post goes on. I make posts long in order to segregate those serious about this business and those who will just become another statistic in the failure rate of this business.

At the end of this post, I'll go over the frequent questions I receive such as: (Answers to FAQ at bottom of post.)
  1. "How do you prepare for a trading day?"
  2. "What would you go back to tell yourself?"
  3. "Books?" (The most abused question, but I get it. I could start a public library with just trading books I bought over the years)
  4. "What is your background?"
  5. "What is a normal day for you?"
  6. "How did you discover your strategy?"
  7. "What did you do/How did you get started?"
  8. "What is your % return?" (Not a fun question since a trading account is not an index or investment account. Intraday traders do not measure performance in %. Most are measured in "R".)
  9. "Is enough to start trading?"
  10. "Why do you need so many monitors"? (This one is rarely asked but I do see it discussed on platforms and people trading on mobile phones love giving flack to anybody who trades on multiple monitors. Hint: Everyone's different. Whatever works for the individual. There are no rules in trading. The only rule is that it works.)

My story:

Background:
I heard about daytrading during the 2008 crash while in high school. We all want to make more while working less. I entertained day trading from time to time but always realized I never had enough money. Horrible mindset because I could have still researched WHILE saving money to put into my trading business.
2015 - I opened my first trading account with Scottrade while in the Marines. Apparently if you have a net worth of over $1,000,000 you can get out early (Biggest rumor ever).
I frivolously bought crap penny stocks. In short - I was a hair away from gambling. What made it NOT gambling was the fact that at least I owned something tangible (Securities of a company) and anything can happen. Buy low sell high was my strategy. Didn't work obviously. No idea what I was doing. I'd buy and hold hoping to wake up to the stock price being way higher and it never happened.

ProTip #1 : If you hold a trade overnight... It is not daytrading. Stop turning into an investor because you can't admit a minor defeat.

2017 - I started taking this business seriously while working in the oilfield as a Logistics Planner (If you're wondering what company since I am asked this from time to time, Google: "World's largest oilfield services company").
No kids, girlfriend/wife or financial obligations. I worked 10AM - 7PM CST and would trade the open from home for roughly 1 hour. Later I was offered to be a Data Analyst... Only downside was... I couldn't trade since I had to be at work now at 8AM CST during the market open. In the moment of signing the offer letter, I was bummed thinking, "No more trading,"
That wasn't the case though. You can still build your trading business with a 9-5 and while never making one trade. The data is there.

ProTip #2 : We all see the same data. It's there forever. Many strategies show their edge both live and in hindsight the same. (Especially if you trade patterns). You CAN build your business as a trader without even taking a trade. You CAN build your strategy while working a 9-5. Just because you're not trading, does not mean you can't build your business through research. You won't know how you'll react to the losses but at least you can diagnose the raw data with a large enough sample size for assurance and confidence.

If you have a 9-5 and want to go fulltime into this business. Stay for a bit, save, live so far beneath your means that it is almost miserable, (depending on your expenses, area you live, family etc) and get a few hundred sample sizes of your strategy! And for your PTO/days off... trade the open. I sacrificed my vacation days to trade.
After 2 years in corporate America, eating cheap food, never going out, saving relentlessly, I made the decision to just do it and resigned. I went straight into the ring of fire known as trading. That was on: September 23rd, 2019
"" (Sound familiar?)

When you hear these types of comments.. your response should be: "Nobody put the time I put into this. The 90%+ who fail, don't have it all written out, computerized backtests, manual backtests, statistics, SOP manuals, JUST like the job I have which is a business, I'm just another cog in their wheel. I'll just be wearing all the hats in my trading business. Instead of Oil&Gas, it's just for trading". One thing I see here a lot is people saying to trade X amount of months/years or make X.

ProTip #3 - Think in man hours, not calendar. Example:
Trader A puts in 1 hour of study/work/research everyday for 1 year. (365 Hours)
Trader B puts in 12 hours of work every day for 4 months. (~1,450 Hours)
Trader A lives in a major city while Trader B lives in the middle of nowhere. (Think cost of living)
2 totally different living expenses and 2 different calibers of dedication. I'd put my money on Trader B because he put in more man hours. (~1,000 more hours on the clock to be more exact).

ProTip #4 - Have a cushion in your account AND your personal bank account. Having a strategy is great but you won't know entirely if you can fulfill and execute your plan until you experience the ups and downs both short and long term. A strategy is constant over long periods of time... there will be days, weeks, and perhaps a month here and there where you aren't making much money. We hear all the time, "Trade like a casino". Casinos don't make money day after day but the odds are in there favor over the long haul.

Month 1 of full time trading was great:
Immediately after going full time, the first month (September 2019 to October 2019), I did super well. Business as usual. No stress. Everything going as planned. No turbulence. At least not like I had ever experienced...

The 2 prerequisites I had before resigning was:
  1. Show consistency in returns. Consistent Sharpe Ratio.
  2. Make a 4 figure trade (I achieved this while short 100 shares on ROKU September 20th, 2019 and even made a victory post if you scroll down my profile's posts.)

First life-changing trading lesson learned as a full time trader:
That money printing spree ended on NFLX October 17th, 2019. Less than 1 month of being a full time trader. Deviating and going against my plan I actually made $500 in a matter of 4 minutes. If you follow my watchlists on Twitter, I always trade with the direction of the gap. If I notate, "Long Watches" that means I will only trade it IF (and only IF) I see a long biased pattern. Likewise I will only be looking to short my "Short Watches". Plenty of times I'll call out a ticker and it immediately goes the other way. No harm no foul because there was no long biased pattern to confirm my thesis.
On 10-17-2019, I went against my plan and it worked.. NFLX gapped up to resistance and I went short when it tanked off of a short pattern.(This is known as fading). The market gave me a free lunch and then some. So now I'm walking on air in my mind:
"I'm an absolute unit"
"I'll do it again and clear another $500 to make it a 4 figure day before 9:30AM Central"
"Should have quit my job way earlier being this good."
Within 30 minutes of the open. I gave all $500 back. Yes I wanted to trade it back. Never have I had the desire to smash anything but I do understand those who do! Yes I stood there and felt like each passing second was wasted opportunity. The next 24 hours were long!

ProTip #5: It's circumstances like that that help you in the long run. FunFact: I never once deviated from my plan since. Not ever again.

"I could have paid for my groceries and electric for the month after 4 minutes of trading if I just took the free pass the market gave me" I felt dumb but in hindsight, I'm glad at what happened. It was this exact instance that married me to my strategy/business plan. The next day and the 7 trading days following. I didn't make 1 profiting trade. My longest ever drawdown - 11 straight trades. While researching I found out this was Decision Fatigue (I'll go over this shortly below)

Put yourself in that situation...
You have bills and your income is strictly trading. I don't care how much a robot you think you are or how strongly you believe in probabilities, when you were in an office less than a month ago making almost 6 figures sitting in an air conditioned office knowing direct deposit is on its way every other Friday no matter how well or poorly you performed at work.. Now you're in the hot seat. Its a bottomless feeling. Now all of your friends and families words are ringing in your head.
But just like a boxing match.. you gotta take a hit to get a hit. Win some, lose some, shake hands and get back to normal life. Water under the bridge.
Mind you:
•No guaranteed direct deposit every 2 weeks.
•No more medical/dental insurance.
•401K retirement is no longer being matched.

11 trades is nothing. You only require ~5.5 trades at 2:1RRR to make it back OR 3.5 trades at 3:1RRR. It's nothing especially in your research because you can easily just scroll a little more and see, "Oh that's just a drawdown. No big deal". How will you react in real time? Will you buckle or choke? But the thing is, I was skipping trades out of fear and JUST so happened to be picking all of the unsuccessful ones. (Decision Fatigue)
Think about those 2 weeks of being in a drawdown. Half of the month. You're not just stagnant, your account is bleeding slowly but surely. Next time you're looking at your spreadsheet/backtest/predictive model/research.. try to put yourself in those days of drawdown. It's not just 11 boxes of red with "-1R" or "Loss" in them. The screenshot above on Imgur is just a recent example.
Think about your daily routine, going to the gym, hanging with friends, grocery shopping, cooking, going to bed, waking up, doing a routine, then losing again.. and again.. and again. Try to think of life during those 300+ hours (Weekends too) of, "I haven't made money. I've lost money. And I still have bills. After paying them, I'll be closer to my set Risk of Ruin".
Here's a lesson you won't learn before going fulltime but I'll do my best to emphasize it here:
Pick a strategy. And stick with it. It can literally be anything. Don't spread yourself thin watching 20+ tickers and be a jack of all patterns/tickers. Be a master of 1 pattern and master of 1 circumstance. There's this real thing called "Decision Fatigue" which explains exactly why what happened.. happened. The article explains that the 2 outcomes of this mental strain known as "Decision Fatigue" is:
  1. Risky Decision-Making
  2. Decision Avoidance
Sound familiar? Does it kind of make sense now? As a new trader you have YouTube, Facebook, StockTwits, Twitter, "gurus", books recommended on Amazon, all throwing their ideas/strategies around, the market has opportunities littered all over.. Decision Fatigue is inevitable for the unprepared. Decision Fatigue happens in every profession. If you mess up at your 9-5, its just a blunder, your paycheck will remain the same. Just a slap on the wrist and move on. With trading, you make a mistake.. it's less food on your table, lights don't stay on, and/or water isn't running. That pressure adds up. No wonder so many fail...
The signs of Decision Fatigue:
•Procrastination.
•Impulsivity.
•Avoidance.
•Indecision.
When you find what clicks with you AND its either statistically or performance proven, have the courage to risk a healthy sum of your capital into it. There are strategies/patterns/styles of trading littered all over the internet:
Very broad example:
"IF circumstance happens THEN "Execution". Stoploss is XYZ. Target is XYZ. BECAUSE over a series of Y trades, I will make $X,XXX.xx".

ProTip #6 : Strategies are all over the internet. It's your account/money, backtest it. People share their strategies here all the time and although I don't agree with them because I know what works for me, it's something to chew off of for you newer traders. YouTube is a harbor with people who give just enough info to figure their style out. You will lose trades. Sit for some screen-time and pay homage to the edge that you discover. All in due time.

Insert key metrics and find correlations. This is how you create checks and balances to create/formulate a black and white trading plan. When I first started doing this, my spreadsheet(s) had so many columns it was annoying and would kill my desire to continue working. You'll find things that are imperative and some that are unimportant. For a lack of more colorful terms: "Throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks" Trim the fat. Rinse and repeat.

Here's some things I used to remind myself of and perhaps it'll ring some bells for you:

Surrender your capital to your edge. If you truly accept the risk and trust your proven edge, losses don't feel like anything nor do profits. Although we're not here to put on losing trades and yes it does feel nice to profit. I still from time to time will excited when I hit target after a series of multiple profiting trades depending on my mood.
If you're nervous or your heart starts beating quicker when you hear the sound effect of a trade getting entered/filled. Be honest with yourself and ask yourself if you're truly accepting the risk.
Things you can't take to the bank:
  1. RRR.
  2. Win-Rate
  3. Number of trades.
  4. "This one great trade that I hit target in less than 30 seconds and I got filled better than expected"
All of these are integral metrics. But you're trading to make money. It's up or down, green or red, profit or loss, TRUE or FALSE. So with that said, find what works flawlessly and is easy to follow. Checks and Balances. Then allocate a good sum of risk into it. I read it here all the time, "Don't risk too much" and that's great and true for new traders. But don't sell yourself short. Push yourself over the edge and admit that you know your stuff. Think of Trader A and Trader B. If you've put the time in.. don't sell yourself short. You've built enough courage to learn a business so many fail at. This business has such a negative connotation. But remember that not everybody can handle meritocracies and that's exactly what the market is. Don't try to be the best, just work harder than everyone else and the output of your input will be relative.

ProTip #7: YouTube trading ads from gurus... they're subconsciously making you think you're a novice trader. It's in their marketing. They study marketing psychology. The EASIEST things to sell:
  1. Health
  2. Wealth
  3. Happiness
People that are desperate for those things are the most vulnerable and these "Traders" marketers are fantastic at portraying all 3 of those things at once.

ProTip #8 (Broken record alert) : Write a business plan. Your strategy shouldn't take longer than 4 sentences to explain to another trader. When you have a plan that's proven through a statistic and WAIT for it to happen, you feel 100X better taking the trade. You don't even care too much when it results in a loss. Because that was your plan, you accept it much better, and you know it was just an expense for a winning trade.

Want my strategy? "I scan for stocks with a market cap of over 250M, 10k shares premarket, gapping to support or resistance, priced over $10, and I look for a pattern biased to the direction of the overnight gap. It isn't rocket science. Check my Twitter, look at the dates I posted, and you'll notice the gist. Yes this is an edge but not the entire edge. How fast can you sift through 15 time frames? How long does it take you to fill out your order ticket? Your Fibonacci time extensions with 5 EMA's and Bollinger Bands aren't helping you. They're lagging. If they work for you, great. In my experience, they hindered my visibility.

Pro Tip #9: Yes statistics are highly applicable to trading. Patterns do work. All patterns do is tell you WHEN to enteexit, and how many shares. Humans will never think differently of money. Be the frontrunner of the market's emotions. Nobody remembers the indecisive leader. Risk taking is a commonality amongst leaders. Trading requires courage and it's O.K. to show a bit of confidence as long as you also have the humility to admit when you're in a bad trade. (Notice how I didn't put, "wrong". You're only "wrong" when you deviate from a proven strategy.)

ProTip #10: Risk management is 24/7. I've never heard anyone mention this but think about it a little bit. Having financial obligations can become stressful regardless of how you earn your income but its far more stressful while running a business. Not just any business, but a business where you can go to work on your A-game, do every single last thing right, trade without emotion etc... and still walk away with less money than what you came to work with. Meanwhile somebody who JUST started trading made a 4 figure profit not knowing what the heck the difference between ETB, HTB, or NTB. Think of it like this, a JV high school baseball player can hit a homerun off of an MLB pitcher once.. but how will he fare at the end of the season? Traders don't predict stock prices, traders predict the outcome over hundreds of trades. People chat me asking what TO do rather than what NOT to do. You don't learn labor intensive jobs or how to fly a plane by what to do.. you learn what NOT to do to stay alive.

That's all I have. Once you have a trading plan underway and you're executing it, you don't have much time when your hobbies are cheap but I still do respond to chats/messages. I do get asked from a previous post when I'll build a website and to answer that: I'm learning how to build a site on rainy days. Can't put a definitive date on it. I will say that its coming, if you don't give up on this business in the next year or so, you'll see it. What I plan on putting on there:
  1. RiskReward Calculators
  2. Position size Calculators
  3. EV Calculator
  4. Dictionary with examples
I just don't want some generic WordPress site. I want my website to be stellar and a great resource for aspiring traders. Something I didn't have learning this business. I want it to be something I'd consider a staple in a trader's resources. Perhaps one day it will be referenced on this sub frequently.
FAQ:
  1. "How do you prepare for a trading day?" I get behind the computer about 20 minutes before the bell. Reason being: "If you study long. You'll study wrong". If the chart isn't grabbing my attention and gets me excited, then I flick to the next ticker. I don't even know the companies I trade half the time nor do I care about a news report some journalist wrote. Also there is no magic news outlet that lets you know about "Major events that affect stock prices". If there was, I wouldn't be here because we're all subscribed to the same edge nor would I be trading my style.
  2. "What would you go back to tell yourself?" Get more data. Save a little more, your hairline and sleep schedule will thank you. Take only perfect trades and don't feel forced to trade. There will be days you don't touch an order ticket. And days where you are busy and have tunnel vision. Next thing you know its time to shut it down for the day.
  3. "Books?" - I try to humble myself when answering this but off the cuff, they're all mediocre. Andrew Aziz's was ok, definitely get it, it's only a few bucks on Kindle. Just don't expect it to give you strategies BUT it will give you ideas. If you're brand new, it is good as it will teach you the common vernacular of a day trader. Mark Douglas was interesting but his YouTube seminar recordings are much better. No book, Facebook group, YouTube channel is going to be the end all be all perfect strategy. Expect losses. Don't be a one hitter quitter after suffering a few tiny losses/paper cuts. Stick to it. Most books will help you familiarize yourself with the common vocabulary amongst traders and will hint ideas. It's your job to formulate the strategy and template for research.
  4. "What is your background?" I was a logistics planner for a major oilfield services company. Later I then became a data/buyer analyst so yes, data analytics/research was a 2nd language for me entering trading. I did have that upper hand and did shave off months if not years for me.
  5. "What is a normal day for you?" I'm always done trading after 10:30AM Central. I will hold onto a trade until right before the bell if it hasn't hit either target or StopLoss by the time I leave the house but it is absolutely closed in entirety by 2:55PM Central. After I trade, I enjoy the day. No I'm not riding around in my Lambos posting IG/Snapchat (I have neither) stories of my profits with my private jet waiting on a runway trying to sell an $7 eBook or a $100 membership (HINT HINT). I grill/cook, read, workout, ride my motorcycle, attack my other sources of income (small businesses I'm building), hit the driving range, shoot guns, etc. I live in Texas. Life is cheap and fun here.
  6. "How did you discover your strategy?" I bought TradeIdeas premium, went through all of their computerized backtesting patterns, tested them. Then did what I mentioned earlier... Tried to find correlations in metrics. It distilled the trades to a strict criteria and here I am. I post on average 4-5 tickers on my watchlist. 7 max. I do not like spreading my attention thin across multiple tickers. I do not recommend buying TradeIdeas, it does have lots of bugs.
  7. "What did you do/How did you get started?" Was a data analyst, was good at research and applied it to trading. My incentive was, "I could have made more money trading rather than sitting in 2+ hours of roundtrip traffic and 9 hours in an office. The data is there. Everybody sees the same charts all over the world. There are ways to make this possible"
  8. "What is your % return?" (Not a fun question since a trading account is not an index or investment account. Intraday traders do not measure performance in %) I trade to make money AND pay myself, so my equity curve will look like a small loss or small gain after I pay myself. % return? I measure my account's performance in Sharpe Ratio and Risk Units. My Sharpe Ratio is ~1.85. While I yield roughly .8 - 1 R per trading day. Some weeks I make 10R. Some weeks I lose 2R. Yeah one week I might make $2,500. But the next week I might lose $300. The following week my strategy will yield $0 and the last week I might make $1,000. Some weeks suck. Some weeks are great. But overall. Just shy of 1R per trading day. Some days I'm super busy taking trade after trade. Some days I'll shut it down after 5 minutes without even filling out an order ticket. Some days I won't even see the open because there is no edge for me.. Keywords... "For me".
  9. "Is enough to start trading?" Depends on where you live. Are you restricted to PDT? If not then how much are you obligated to expenses? I live in Texas. Things are cheap here. If you live in NYC or The Bay Area your expenses will be astronomical compared to mine. A $30,000 account is totally doable for a single Texan with low monthly expenses. Now if you're in California or New York? I'm sure you'll fall below 25k if you have 1 bad month. Also depends on if you have other sources of income or a full/part time job. I encourage every trader and aspiring trader to have multiple sources of income, don't rely solely on trading. Not just for the sake of mitigating pressure but also for sanity. If you have a family to provide for, I don't know what that's like, you never know when Little Johnny is going to randomly pick up Trombone lessons for a school program/play while little Suzie needs transmission work in her car because a simple solenoid went out. $1,700 later.
  10. "Why do you need so many monitors?" I use 3 for trading. The 4th is for music. The other 2 are useless while trading. That's for trading though. When I made the decision to go full time, I knew I was about to go off the chain with research. And sifting between spreadsheets, a platform to see multiple timeframes for a pattern to backtest. My attention span is short, I'll lose my train of thought before I open the other tab to input data. But the main reason was for research. It's such a time saver and is a headache repellant when doing research while everything is laid out in front of you. Now that I have a system. I'll most likely be treating myself to 2 ultrawides for Christmas.
As always, thank you to everybody who takes time out to message me and letting me know some people read these and show appreciation. I would say, "Good luck" but there is no luck in trading. Just statistics. Remember that!
In conclusion: Yes. Full time trading is possible, depending where you live/monthly expenses and obligations. You're more likely to become a profitable trader than a professional athlete. There is a level of uncertainty each day, perhaps each week, doubtful each month, and definitely not each year. If I ever want a raise, I just consult my business plan and financials, then decide if I can handle it mentally. If you have medical issues, get a part time job for the benefits. If you're healthy, just be careful.

All the best!

Day 6

Hi everyone,
This is my first time posting in here so apologies for rambling I just need some advice.
So I’ve been attending GA meetings since August and have managed to stay off a bet for a max of 3/4 weeks. Gambling was fun for me when I started 5 years ago but this year it turned into a living hell.
In 2018 I won a jackpot of £20,000. I was lying in bed under my covers, off work, having an extremely bad depressive episode. Gambling turned into a coping mechanism for me so on I went to the usual slots website and out of no where I won. I didn’t know how to feel, I was over the moon but at the same time felt nothing. It was bizarre. I had cashed out and I remember I had about £4,000 debt to pay off (due to gambling) and then I spent my money on holidays for me and my ex boyfriend, my mum and on a deposit for a car. I was doing great until May of 2019 when I started gambling again and my bank balance was slowly decreasing. In September 2019 I sought help from local counsellors to try and get help as I was struggling to stop. I joined Gamstop for a 6 month period and felt all the better for it but in March 2020 when this period ended instead of signing up for it again I gambled, and this time it was bad. I would win and lose thousands of pounds a night and get up for work in the morning having not slept and mentally drained. In May 2020 I won £4000 and cashed it out, again I paid of my debts and had about £2000 left. I joined Gamstop again and was doing well until I discovered I could still bet in online casinos from different countries. This was where my addiction spiralled and no matter what I won I’d just lose it again. I just wanted that feeling of winning and that high that my brain had been conditioned to love. I had suffered from depression and severe self loathing since I was 16 and when I started gambling it had always helped me escape. But before I knew it I was thousands of pounds down and crying myself to sleep. It got to the point that I didn’t care about myself at all and I gambled whatever was available to me. I had just given up because I craved a good feeling so much. When all gambling really did was make me even more miserable. My current boyfriend said it looked like to him that I was using it as a form of self harm as I knew I wasn’t gaining anything from doing it except losses. I ended up telling my parents in august and here I am today 3/4 months into GA and although I have not managed to stop gambling permanently, I am certainly in a different frame of mind to when I started.
I just want to be free of this addiction so I can stop hurting people around me.
The questions I have for you all is: How do you get rid of guilt you have for borrowing money from people to gamble and putting them through this awful addiction?
How do you stop feeling guilty and obsessing over money you have lost?
How do you keep off a bet when there are adverts everywhere?
How do you deal with it when you hear someone you know has won a lot of money gambling and feel like that could be you?
Thank you for reading, I felt like this was a safe space to get my thoughts out as I’ve been struggling a lot recently. I’m trying!

About THRILLS CASINO ONLINE

Thrills Casino has been online ever since 2013. The past years have been more than enough for the operator to establish itself as a fan-favourite gambling destination. Over time, the operator has shown that customers are its top priority by providing them with high-quality customer care, excellent bonus offers and user-friendly policies in general. Moreover, Thrills com casino boasts with creativity and uniqueness thanks to its very cool and modern design. All these impressive things pair well with more than 1,400 top-notch gambling games.
Thrills online casino launched as a new and exciting gambling site where players feel appreciated. The first strength of this operator, as well as the most obvious one, is the creative design that features nice colours and several casino mascots. The casino theme is strongly present throughout the entire site. This gives players a sense of belonging as they quickly attach to the mascots and feel more comfortable. A couple of years ago, the operator went through a serious transformation and, as a result, Thrills became a Pay N Play casino. The venue is now a devout promoter of responsible gaming.

BONUSES AND PROMOTIONS

Many web-based operators fail to welcome users appropriately. Sadly, not every operator understands the importance of online casino promotions. But Thrills online casino sure does. Thrills com casino is not your run-of-the-mill casino in a way that it does not offer a Welcome Bonus.
Rumours about the non-existent Welcome Bonus swirled around the web, so we personally reached out to the Customer Support to verify the info. And the truth is that there is no Welcome Bonus for newcomers. This is partly due to the fact that the casino is a Pay N Play casino (i.e. all cash transactions to and from the casino go through Trustly) and partly because it is dedicated to safe gaming.
Moreover, the lack of Welcome Offers does not hinder your experience at the venue. If anything, it strengthens it. The operator cares about your safety, and the fact that they eliminated the Welcoming Bonus means they are a safe place to play at.
That still doesn’t mean that there are no other offers at the casino.
When you become a registered player at Thrills com casino, you will instantly become eligible for a myriad offers that fall into the category of Thrills casino bonuses. BestCasinos.com team made sure to make a sweep of all new Thrills casino bonus codes. You might not need the latest Thrills casino bonus code 2020, but you still get to enjoy Cashback. The best current promo offer at Thrills com casino is the 10% Cashback which you can get every Monday. The formula for calculating Cashback is (bets minus wins (Monday 00:01 – Sunday 23:59 UTC)) * 10%. The minimum amount you can receive as Cashback is €1, while the maximum sum is €1,000. You are always equipped for the best possible experience over at Thrills online casino. As a Pay N Play casino, Thrills online casino always delivers a fast and secure experience.

CASINO GAMES OFFERED

The library is the most important part of an offer at a gambling site. Like all our rated and reviewed venues, Thrills casino features hundreds of gambling games. There are over 1,400 games by several well-established game developers like Microgaming, Betsoft and Play’n GO, plus industry-leader NetEnt powers the site. In other words, players can find a game to suit their taste, regardless whether they prefer exciting video slots, traditional classic slots or creative variants of popular table games. Moreover, the venue features a wide range of live dealer games as well, where players can enjoy an authentic casino atmosphere from the comfort of their home.
A list of the games they offer: Live games, Slots, Roulette, Video Poker, Blackjack, Keno, Scratch cards, Bingo, Pai Gow and dozens of others. Regardless of your preference, this operator will deliver the best quality content that you can find in the industry right now. Popular releases like Reactoonz and Book of Dead are right at the top of the featured list. Piggy Riches, Bonanza – you name it. If you decide to check out the latest releases, just switch over to the New Games tab and enjoy the hottest arrivals to the online gambling scene.

BANKING METHODS

In September 2018, Thrills switched to a Pay N Play casino. This means all banking is handled via Trustly through your online bank. When you visit the site, you will instantly get an option to deposit your chosen sum via this banking method. The lack of other payment methods might be off-putting, but we assure you that it is not a problem. Pay N Play casinos (Trustly-powered operators) are safe, easy to navigate and boast speedy transactions.

Final Thoughts and Ratings

Ultra Casino looks quite promising. We feel that the site has a great UX and make the site appealing to new players. Some work is needed in the promotions department to make sure that the casino keeps being competitive. The game selection is quite competitive and the content within the casino lobby is overflowing with potential and promise.
Although the site is new, we would love to see a loyalty program being launched in the near future. This will have players coming back for more.
Support is currently acceptable, and to take it to the next level, support would be provided on a 24/7 basis. The chat icon is now always available on the site, so best if you sent the team an email to get your query sorted and answered.

"Swap" is Poised for Take-off

https://preview.redd.it/mnxeb74hk4j51.jpg?width=990&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32d152a7495971c10e1af12185abe5e77b61fd14

How popular is DeFi?
Link, known as the leader of the oracle machine, has increased by 305.19% for the past three months, with an investment return of 17,052%, climbing to the fifth spot in the cryptocurrency ranking list by market value in the short term;
Since its issuance, YFI, which has soared 350 times all the way, has attracted 630 million US dollars of investment in 5 days, and was even dubbed the next Bitcoin in this circle;
From Comp for lending, KNC and BAL, governance tokens for decentralized exchanges, to SNX which is a stable currency payment network, various governance tokens of the DeFi ecosystem have emerged in an endless stream, stirring the blood in the market.
Such a boom is not only reflected in the currency price, but also pushes the brand new DEX based on the AMM (automated market making) model an overnight hit. UniSwap, known as the next-generation casino, has surpassed the world's first-tier centralized exchanges such as Binance, OKex, and Huobi in user activity, daily trading volume, and daily turnover.
With the rapid rise of UniSwap, the DEX threat theory has once again triggered heated discussions among the media and communities in the blockchain industry.
DEX on the Rise
The success of UniSwap is by no means something accidental. As early as 2018 when centralized exchanges suffered the hacker theft one after another, Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum, predicted that the future lay in decentralized exchanges and that Ethereum, by developing a "better" decentralized platform, could empower the cryptocurrency community to regain the dominance from the centralized cryptocurrency exchange.
To realize the decentralized concept of returning to users their asset ownership, geeks in the blockchain industry have made many attempts.
Kyber Network, Bancor, Balancer, 0X, Curvefi, etc. are all DEXs based on Ethereum blocks. For a long time, affected by the performance of Ethereum and cross-chain issues, these DEXs were once stagnant.
With the lessons learned from Ethereum DEX, newcomers to the DEX have focused on high performance, high TPS, and rich assets as the ultimate goal for product development.
Amid the DEX threat theory, major exchanges have deployed their own public chain DEX products in a response to their respective development strategies: Binance launched Binance DEX on its Binance Chain, and Bittrex Exchange unveiled Ethfinex on the Ethereum and EOSfinex on the EOS blockchain, two platforms where users can exchange for fiat currencies; last year, CoinEx officially launched CoinEx Chain, a public chain dedicated to decentralized transactions, followed by CoinEx DEX.
Since the birth of the DEX in the blockchain world, this field has never run out of competition.
By independent development or other’s advantage?
From 2017 when it was established to 2019 as it stabilized, DEX has witnessed its annual trading volume skyrocketing from less than US$5 million to over US$2.5 billion. As DeFi gains fame and grows rapidly, DEX has grown into the most popular source of money, attracting a flood of speculators. In the past month, the trading volume of the global cryptocurrency market DEX has exceeded US$ 4 billion, more than twice the figure across 2019.
In the past two years, despite the increasingly in-depth exploration in the DEX, the cross-chain issue remains a stumbling block in its development path. DEX will not outperform CEX in the trading experience until a cross-chain solution is worked out.
The concept of DeFi went viral in 2019. With the continuous improvement of the DeFi ecosystem, the current Ethereum blockchain has developed into a complete decentralized financial system, covering mortgage lending, interest from deposit, leveraged trading, token exchange, identity authentication, and other infrastructure essential to traditional financial systems.
In addition to the mouth-watering profit, the DeFi ecosystem has also brought along explosive growth in both the type and quantity of digital assets, making DEX a market favorite. Compared with the DEX dedicated to public chains, the Ethereum-based DEX has been equipped with more possible functions and thus become more attractive thanks to the comprehensive supplementary infrastructure on Ethereum.
This also presents DEX pioneers with new opportunities. Dubbed “Swap’s summer”, the summer of 2020 has seen a market rush in Swap development after UniSwap became a hit.
Miniswap, Justswap, and btswap are no more innovative than UniSwap according to their product structures and white papers.
By comparison, OneSwap has injected unique essence into its product design and governance model based on UniSwap's automated market making.
Upgraded UniSwap
OneSwap, which has a double mining model + order book, has received an investment of tens of millions from CoinEx even before the product is launched. It is known that OneSwap is jointly developed by a group of technology geeks who have engaged in the cryptocurrency community for many years. The project was initiated by a member of the team in an attempt to upgrade UniSwap after he experienced the convenient AMM enabled by UniSwap.
Without limit orders, users have to trade in the price set by the platform, which, however, compromised their experience. In addition, the lack of liquidity mining and transaction mining rewards cannot reduce the losses of liquidity providers caused by unilateral market conditions.
"DEX still has much room for perfection, and could even surpass CEX in trading experience"
The OneSwap development team always believes that UniSwap still has a long way to go before it becomes the strongest DEX in the DeFi ecosystem. They have endeavored to, relying on their abundant experience in exchange product development and digital currency trading, create the most powerful DEX product in the DeFi ecosystem based on smart contracts.
OneSwap is called the “upgraded UniSwap” in the community. By the combination of the Constant Product Market Maker (CPMM) model in the Uniswap project and the on-chain order book, it reduces restrictions on users’ trading, and, through its OneSwap Wallet, improves user interaction methods and further enhances their experience in trading and product usage.
OneSwap boasts one-click token issuance and listing essential to DEX. Unlike the listing review mechanism on Binance DEX, the setting of OneSwap is more consistent with the concept of decentralization. Anyone can put his or her good projects and ideas, if any, into practice through OneSwap without permission.
In terms of product design, OneSwap will add to its function menu the Candlestick chart, order form, and depth chart according to user habits, apart from limit orders. These functions will offer OneSwap users an experience as smooth, easy-to-use, and convenient as in the CEX.
A new source of money? A two-pronged platform with transaction mining + liquidity mining
To support on-chain governance, OneSwap will issue a ERC20 governance token called ONES. The total number of ONES remains constant at 100 million, 50% of which will be used as community funds to support the construction of the OneSwap ecosystem and 50% will be owned by the OneSwap team. Community funds can be applied for through on-chain governance. 5% of the part held by the team will be unlocked initially, and the rest will be unlocked at a rate of 5% every six months until all is unlocked after four and a half years.
After the OneSwap product was launched, the OneSwap team will take part of the initially unlocked tokens as airdrop rewards for the open beta. Then OneSwap will officially start liquidity mining and transaction mining, and the governance token ONES will also be simultaneously launched on centralized trading platforms across the world. The first round of mining activities will last for one month, and mining rewards are yet to be made public.
Liquidity mining is a popular way of obtaining governance tokens in the DeFi ecosystem. Well-known DeFi projects including COMP, Cure, and Banner have all enabled liquid mining.
Transaction mining could date back to 2018 when Fcoin grew popular.
The transaction mining model initiated by Fcoin in 2018 once set off a bull market that year, pushing many investors into financial freedom in the rush of transaction mining. In addition, transaction mining based on the DeFi ecosystem is still a blue ocean, which is not common in the current market. The success of OneSwap's double mining model, if possible, would surely start a craze in the cryptocurrency market.
The OneSwap team has not yet announced specific mining rules, but disclosed that it has developed the smart contract code. To ensure the product security, OneSwap will invite three well-known security agencies in the blockchain industry to audit the code and announce the auditing results in early September at the soonest.
Conclusion
DeFi did not rise to fame without reason in 2020. Such overnight popularity is an inevitable result of Ethereum's efforts to build a decentralized consensus mechanism and improve infrastructure in the past few years. Ethereum has almost become the only public chain in the DeFi circle and the only construction base for well-known DEX. If OneSwap succeeds, it means a huge breakthrough for both DeFi and Ethereum, and decentralization in its true sense is around the corner.

The Locked Cabinet and the Virus

I had been called to the city of sin for a bi-annual conference that I had taken for the past 24 years. I had sat through it in health, in the cold, rain, and sickness. I was there 10 days after Tupac was murdered, and was walking down Fremont street several months later on the day when they took Christopher Wallace. A year later in 1998, a colleague and I woke up to a phone call from my then wife telling me about what happened to President Clinton, and that was when the words, "For a blowjob?" coming from my companion led me into a similar predicament. For the next several years, a tangled divorce that I've never fully unwinded from, occupied my attention. It wasn't until the morning of September 11th in 2001 that gave me the wakeup call I needed. I scooted the young blonde out of my room and told her to call her dad, since I knew Tom was in New York that day.
Mosque bombings, terrorism, market bubble bursting, swine flu, recession, succession, shootings, a shooter, second divorce, new house, new life, and the same old job on the same old beat all meant that Las Vegas and I had been doing this dance through the thick and the thin for over two decades.
And I have never seen it like this.
My uber driver nodded, "Yeah man. Shit is wild. I only picked up 8 people in the last 9 hours."
He was young, the new leather interior in a wide bodied Escalade smelled like an expensive loan. His eyes were twitchy as he tried not stare at me, wondering if I was going to cough from all the dry mouthing I had been doing from the LAS to my hotel.
I had grown used to the stares, the selective social distancing for looking Chinese and all of its stereotypes as the weeks leading into March of 2020. The beginning trend of people instinctively coughing whenever they saw me soon became a daily ritual. It was all a part of tribe mentality I convinced myself, chuckling as I remembered the pie scene from the movie Stand By me.
That made my uber driver nervous.
"Here we are," he finally breathed.
I thanked him and proceeded to the service counter with my carry on.
"Sorry for the wait," replied the representative, "We laid off 80% of our staff this morning."
I was taken aback by her candid greeting.
"Looks like you'll be in a private room owned by one of our guests. And as it is not through the hotel, please contact your host for any services that you require. We will need a $500 deposit on a credit card for any incidentals."
Several minutes later I found myself riding the elevator up 26 stories and into my rental. I contacted my host through the app to let him know that I had arrived. It was my first time using the app service so if anyone wants to chime in on how necessary or unnecessary that action is, please, enlighten me.
I had chose this room because there was a large, deep soak bathtub. I don't have many preferences in life but if there is a chicken fried steak on the menu I must get it at least once, coke over pepsi, and onion rings. Don't ask me why they are all food based, but they are, except for the bathtub. At nearly 6'1 I am always trying to find a decent soak. When I was younger my grandmother owned a Japanese soaking barrel, and ever since then I have been chasing after that nostalgic experience. Instead I often find myself cramming, contorting, and cold above the chest.
There was not much for me to do as President Trump had canceled his conference with the Jewish Coalition, which meant that other subsequent CEO's began withdrawing from all the other Vegas conferences. Something that I should have foreseen, which could have otherwise prevented me from traveling during this time. But there was no helping it, and this was definitely not the worst place to be stuck in.
I looked into the bathroom mirror and decided to wash the trails of the airport from my face and then made my way down to the casino floors. Everything was closed. All the restaurants anyways. So I hailed a cab and found my way to Gordon Ramsay's Hells Kitchen. The best lobster risotto I ever had, a mediocre bar experience, a change of hands for an 8 ball on the street, and I was on my way into Caesar's Palace. I had reasoned with myself that my foresight was not the best at this time so blackjack and poker were out of the question. I stuck to roulette and craps, winning big at the dice. And if you've ever been to a high roller table then all the movies are true, there you will find willing women to blow on the ivories for you.
Somehow we found our way back to my room, a slew of fancy cocktail dresses and Victoria secret's underwear were strewn in a near comical fashion. A rolled Benjamin walked down Abbey road. And there's nothing quite like two young and beautiful women taking pictures of your junk to brag to their friends later to accentuate your high. Everyone loves an anomaly.
The two of them were in town for CONEXPO, one of the world's largest construction gatherings. One was 28 and a leading architect for a large firm and the other was a 32 year old forewoman who was sent to accompany her to fill in the job's specifics.
"You've got soft hands for a construction worker," I quipped.
She raised her drawn in eyebrow at me, "Not as soft as a desk jockey's."
We both laughed until our eyes were drawn to the young architect who had begun to slowly undress in front of us. She swayed her hips to the lofi soul of Joji. My champagne glass sparkled in the light as the smells of girl scout cookies lit up the bathroom.
"You don't mind if I smoke do you?"
"Oh, give it here," came the architect's voice.
"I should probably get an ashtray."
I got out of the tub and walked into the living area. I pulled open a few drawers, and found nothing. I tugged on the handles of the cabinet underneath the wetbar only to find it locked. That was when I noticed the notice stickied on its door, "Please do not open. These are my private possessions," made with a cheap labeler. "There's probably alcohol in this thing," I said aloud. I turned to look into the bathroom but neither of them seemed to care as I watched the water falling from their hair and down their backs. The rest of the night was well, you can imagine.
I woke up around 4:30 A.M. and heard an ungodly rattling. As I stirred in bed, I heard a voice asking sleepily, "What was that?"
"I don't know," came another voice. "It's probably the pipes or something."
The architect was unsure so she got up and turned on a light. She turned to look at me, "Did you get this on AirBNB?"
"Yeah, something like that."
We heard the rattle again. I could tell that she was afraid so I decided to get up with her.
"Do you know where the light is," she asked?
"Nope," I said as I struck a match for dramatic effect.
"Oh god," she rolled her eyes.
I smiled, "It's more fun this way."
She grabbed my arm as we made our way into the larger part of the suite in search of the noise. We looked in the closet, the bathroom, the enclosed toilet, and I even pulled a few drawers open for effect.
"What is this," she asked me. She had found the cabinet under the wetbar.
"I don't know. It was locked when I got here." I struck another match, "It says not to touch it or something, owner's possessions I think."
"Oh god, that is so creepy," she moaned. "I once went to this place in Lake Tahoe and it wasn't until the last day that my boyfriend found a loft that was hidden because the stairs had been removed. When he climbed it, there was a router and a twin sized bed in the corner. Super chills man."
"Well, the cabinet is too small for anything weird to be in there," I told her.
"You don't know that, have you ever seen those double jointed circus people?"
"Well, if there's some more champagne in there, then I wouldn't mind breaking the lock."
"It would be warm," she said.
"Ah yes, the important things."
We laughed, but just as we were going to get back into bed she ran into the bathroom and got a towel and tied an extensive knot around the handles.
Several hours later we were woken up with a loud banging. I bolted up in bed.
"Sir!"
My mind raced to gather itself and assess at least 9 things wrong with my current situation. Cops, someone's boyfriend, my wife? Oh shit, why was I still getting myself into these predicaments? You would think I've learned a thing or two by now.
"Sir! This is hotel security. Are you in there sir? We're asking everyone to evacuate the building."
I got out of bed and rushed to open the door before they keyed their way in, "Hey what is going on?"
A man in an N95 mask and gloves was at the door, "Sir, we've been asked to evacuate everyone out of the building immediately. The hotel will be closing due to SARS-COV-2."
"What's going on," one of the girls asked.
"Miss, everyone needs to leave. We are evacuating the building. Please gather your belongings."
I looked at my companions and subsequently told them, "I can't believe they canceled Vegas."
For the next 20 minutes we scrambled to get ready. For a group of strangers it worked decently well. We cut the last lines and split it between the three of us. A smile, a kiss, and a hurried goodbye later meant that we found ourselves rushing for the elevator.
"Oh god, I forgot about the towel I tied to the cabinet," the architect said.
"It shouldn't be that much of a problem. Someone will just take it off later," I tried assuring her.
"What if no one gets back in there for weeks?" She looked at me slightly anxious, as if she was afraid to breathe the words, and a side of me knew what she was going on about.
"Alright, I'll go back," I told her.
The forewoman looked confused.
"I'll got with you," the architect said.
"No, you two get downstairs and see what is going on."
She looked at me with these doe eyes, the same look that has kept me awake for the past several days as I am laying here in boredom.
"I'll be fine I told her."
I ran back to the room, slid my keycard and began to untie the knot on the cabinet. And in my paranoia I took a video recording of the place before leaving, just so that I had evidence that the room was left in relatively good order later. The door slammed behind me, I pulled up my app to request an Uber as I made my way to the elevator. My phone vibrated, it must be the app I reasoned as I began shifting through my luggage to make sure I had gotten everything. When I reached the ground floor I searched for my two companions but found hotel personnel were rushing people into open taxis and Ubers to the airport. An entitled prick stood outside the valet desk as a manager profusely apologized for the inconvenience and how the hotel would compensate for one thing or another as he opened the door to a Porsche Panamera.
There was nothing for me to do except get into an Uber. I pulled up my phone expecting to see a familiar message that notified me that my driver would be arriving in 3 minutes, but instead it was a message from my host that simply said, "Thank you."

In 1979, the U.S. Embassy in Moscow was losing more than 120 informants a year to Russian KGB. by 1981, that number had dropped to just 10. Now, a former intelligence agent is raising alarm that the wildly unorthodox methods once used to protect Russian sources could pose a devastating new threat

Myra Kindle is an independent investigative reporter.
Her other reports:

A Career Intelligence Agent

In retirement, Kurt Wexler, 84, is like the rest of us.
He likes nothing more than spending his days spoiling his four grandchildren, catching up on old hobbies he’s missed, and volunteering at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church near his home in Richmond, Virginia.
In his career, Kurt Wexler was nothing like the rest of us.
He was one of just three men responsible for coordinating the complicated web of Russian informants in Moscow during the late 1970s and mid 1980s.
He authorized bribes, covered up murders, and threatened women and children, all in the name of protecting vital sources of information necessary to the United States during the Cold War.
“I laugh a bit at the whole waterboarding issue,” says Kurt. “It’s very serious, of course I know, but also, we didn’t have congressional oversight to deal with, so it’s just a bit funny to me. What stopped us from doing something we ought naught do was the thought it might provoke nuclear war. You know, that was our oversight.”
Mr. Wexler is not the type of former government employee to speak to the press. During our five interviews, he on multiple occasions made comment that he was only speaking to me as a matter of last resort.
But then, why speak at all?
Kurt is worried. Since the April, 2018 expulsion of US government personnel all over Russia, he says the methods, procedures, and equipment used to protect informants during the Cold War is under virtually no supervision.
“A great liability is sitting in in the middle of Moscow and I don’t think anyone is there to look over it,” says Kurt. “It absolutely terrifies me when I think about it.”
Kurt adds that this is not political, saying, “the politicians don't even know.”
Based on interviews with Mr. Wexler, former and current government officials, and supported with documentation provided by Mr. Wexler, independent investigative reporter Myra Kindle, for the first time, shares details of the highly unorthodox methods used to protect Russian informants during the Cold War, and presents what’s at stake if it goes unprotected.

The Soviets that Kept America Safe

Some did it for money, others for a chance at a life in America, and others still simply on moral grounds. But regardless of their motivations, informants have been a central pillar to US intelligence agencies for as long as those agencies have existed.
“Informants are both how we get new information, but also how we confirm what we think we already know,” says Peter Mattis, a former CIA analyst. “We’d essentially be doing a lot more guesswork and would lack a lot of confirmation of details without informants. They’re essential to rigorous intelligence work.”
Mr. Wexler declined to name any specific information that he collected through informants during his time in Moscow, but said: “It ranged on level of importance depending on how important the source was. It could be as mundane as how much sugar an officer likes in his coffee, or as serious as a planned assassination attempt on a US ally.”
Opposite Kurt, and trying to root out his web of informants at every chance was the Soviet secret police, the Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti, or as they’re better known, the KGB.
With more than 60 years of secret police programs under its belt, and with new powers granted to them in 1978, to say the KGB had absolute power on the streets of Moscow is still an understatement.
“They could do, and did do, whatever they wanted,” says Kurt. “They had a city gripped in fear. More than just wiretaps, they had access to eight million people, nearly all of whom would rat on their neighbors, friends, family. To be an informant was just an incredible risk, but those that did it, did it regardless.”

An Incredible Risk

On October 4th, 1979, the body of 21 year old Natalia Kozlov was discovered near the Khruscheva apartment buildings in West Moscow. She had apparently fallen from her fifth story apartment.
On October 12th of the same year, two men were found shot dead near the Brateyevo district‎. The gunshot wounds were so severe to their faces that they were never identified.
One week later on October 19th, the body of a six year old girl was discovered floating in Moskva River. It would later be determined that the girl’s father had been shot and thrown off the Borodinsky bridge, and that the girl had died from hypothermia after going into the river to try and rescue him.
While Kurt refuses to confirm any of these deaths were related to his informants, his eyes water as I read aloud about the young girl.
“As soviet citizens, they were supposed to be my enemy,” Kurt says, “but I cared for them like my own brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces. If you were my informant, I did everything I possibly could to protect you.”
In 1979, Kurt’s options to do that were limited.
“Secrecy was our best tool,” he says, “but in a city with eyes and ears everywhere, that can only get you so far. Sometimes, we had to resort to almost KGB type tactics. We would bribe, we would threaten. On one occasion to protect one of our highest valued informants, I authorized the murders of his cleaning lady and driver because I thought they had found something and might go to the police. I’m not proud of everything we did, but we did it to protect Americans and more immediately, the Soviets trying to protect America.”
When reached for comment, the CIA denies that Mr. Wexler ever worked for the agency, however other sources were able to confirm he was an employee of the State Department from 1960 to 1997. Mr. Wexler also provided documentation to this effect.
In regards to the methods used by Kurt, the CIA provided the following statement: “US intelligence agencies do not disclose intelligence gathering practices, however Mr. Wexler’s descriptions are not accurate.”
Off the record, several former intelligence officials tell me Kurt’s description is wholly consistent with what they understand were tactics taken in Moscow around that time.

The Game Changer

It started with suspicion of betrayal.
Mr. Wexler’s clandestine activities were just one of three prongs. He had two co-equal partners that ran their own informant rings, and for security reasons, Kurt was unaware of the informants working for his partners, as were they left in the dark about informants working for Kurt.
They were a team, but a disjointed one, compartmentalized for security in case any one of them were compromised.
In the summer of 1980, it began to look to Kurt that both his partners were betraying their mission.
“We don't share information about informants,” says Kurt, “but we were supposed to be sharing safety methods and procedures. My two partners had lost zero informants in the first six months of 1980 and they refused to tell me why. Moscow has always been one of the most dangerous cities for informants, and yet they cracked the code to gather information safely and refused to discuss it.”
Kurt saw a likely explanation -- they had been compromised.
“I didn’t speculate as to why. It could have been blackmail, or money, or just plain ‘ol ideological defection,” says Kurt, “but something fishy was going on. I figured they had to be working with the USSR.”
Kurt adds, “The stakes were enormous. They could have been feeding US intelligence bunk information for months.”
Both the CIA and State Department refused comment on the subject of the number of informants lost in Moscow during this time period and whether or not it had changed. A representative at the State Department however wished to add: “The US State Department is not a spy apparatus of the United States.”
Off the record, current and former intelligence officials tell me Moscow stands alone as the safest city for informants feeding information to the US.
One official who agreed to speak anonymously said: “Around the early 80s there was a massive reduction in the number of informants being killed around the Moscow area. That trend continued all the way through the end of the Cold War, the 1990s, and even today.” He added, “It’s completely contradictory to how dangerous the city is for other enemies of the Kremlin.”

Spy vs Spy

By August of 1980, Kurt had had enough.
Working with a small group of his closest confidants, he set up an elaborate string operation on his two partners that had refused to share on why their informants were no longer being targeted. The operation revealed that his two partners had been meeting at the same location every two weeks near the heart of Moscow.
“There are more than 800 safe houses and cache deposits used by US intelligence all around Moscow,” says Kurt. “Once I figured out they weren’t going to any of them, it became much more likely in my mind that they had defected.”
In late September, he made his move when he personally followed the two men. Accompanied by three confidants, and all armed, Kurt was mentally prepared to kill one or both of his partners.
“We had staked out the apartment complex they were visiting for the better part of a month,” says Kurt. “We were certain that to the specific apartment they were going to, no one but them had ever come in or out. It was thought the apartment was used as a dead drop location, and that information, money, whatever, was being passed through one of the adjacent apartments. With just the two of them in there, we were pretty confident we could take them in, but if it came to it, we were ready to shoot too.”
The night would end without an intentional murder, but one would be attempted.
Before Kurt and his armed confidants got to the right floor, his partners were already standing at the top of the stairs outside the apartment.
“They shouldn’t have known we were there,” says Kurt. “But as we were climbing the stairs, we saw they had their guns thrown on the ground and their arms raised above their heads.”
Kurt’s eyes well as he takes a moment to describe the improbable fate of one of the three armed confidants he brought with him.
“The man to the right of me,” says Kurt. “I don’t know, maybe he thought it was an ambush when he saw the partners give up so easily, but he tried to fire towards the top of the stairs. I swear I heard the trigger pull but there was no bullet. The man, the one that fired, instead he just disappeared, just faded, completely gone.”
The inexplicable disappearance of the armed man could not be confirmed by any sources other than Mr. Wexler, however Kurt says it affected everyone that saw it.
“It calmed a tense situation,” says Kurt. “My two partners still stood at the top of the steps, looking down now at us three men. They made clear they wanted to surrender, that they meant us no harm, and that they didn't make the other man disappear. We found trust then, I don't know how, but we found it.”
Their surrender however, was conditional.
“They wanted me to join them in the apartment,” says Kurt. “They asked I take their guns and send the two armed confidants that remained back to the embassy. I reluctantly agreed. I didn’t have proof beyond my suspicions they had defected, and with no weapons and no one else in the apartment, it seemed a low enough risk for me to take it. On top of that I had just lost a close buddy of mine to seemingly no cause whatsoever. I needed to know what was in that apartment.”
Kurt’s says his curiosity and the risk he took would lead to the single biggest payoff in his career in spycraft.

The Omnipotent Source

The interview process for Mr. Wexler has been among the most difficult I’ve ever conducted.
He omits names, he leaves absent details, and the information he does share, it is nearly impossible to verify.
This is perhaps most exemplified in Mr. Wexler’s severe reluctance to discuss the apartment his two partners had been visiting during the first six months of 1980, and the scant evidence he is able to provide that it even exists.
What Mr. Wexler will tell me is that inside the apartment they discovered a source that knew everything their informants did, but could relay that information safely.
“The source,” Mr. Wexler says, “a very old man who knew our informants and everything they knew. We would meet every two weeks in that apartment for the next eight years, till he passed and a new man replaced him,” says Kurt.
Asked if he ever confirmed the information with the informants themselves, Kurt says: “That would have been too dangerous at the time, but yes, I did. Years later in the late ‘90s after the USSR fell, I contacted all the informants the old man referenced - I spoke with all of them. They confirmed everything, contextualized it, and even shared more.”
Confirmation of Mr. Wexler’s details have proved impossible. Both off an on the record US intelligence officials tell me that either such a room with such a source doesn’t exist, or that if it does, it is such a closely held secret that only on the ground intelligence in Moscow knows about it.
One official questioned why such an incredible source would only be used to protect Moscow informants, saying: "What's the harm in using such a source for everything, and what's so special about Russian informants that they take priority?"
The only documentation Mr. Wexler was able to provide for verification is a an old Polaroid of an old man, the one he claims was the source in the room. The photograph however is so faded that the man in the photo could be any older man. Mr. Wexler could pass for the man in the photograph, for example.

Fear of a Date

There are obvious security concerns about having a room with an omnipotent source in Moscow go unprotected, but this is not Mr. Wexler’s fear. He trusts the source is allied to US interests, or at a minimum, interested in protecting Russian sources that give information to the US.
Kurt’s fear is much more specific, as he claims that if by January 3rd, 2020, the US State Department does not have adequate resources applied to that room, “armageddon will come for us all.”
When asked for comment, both on and off the record officials tell me the January 3rd, 2020 date has no significance within the intelligence community, however Mr. Wexler is adamant.
“There are two things I know,” says Kurt. “One, I die in 2028 at the ripe old age of 93. Two, the existence of everything won’t matter if we’re not using that room by January 3rd, 2020. Paradoxes kill. I’ve seen it.”
Intrigued, I ask Mr. Wexler if he believes a ‘paradox’ killed his confidant on the stairs in 1980. He responds, “Yes”, and to which I ask: “Well, what caused that ‘paradox’ then?”
Mr. Wexler has not been able to provide an answer.

Trump is a traitor a pathological liar and draft Dodger and eventually will be inmate number?

The Pedophile President, A Ponzi Scheme, and an English Madam updated September 13th 2019
Donald Trump’s charm and looks were not enough to stop his failing casino and real estate businesses from collapsing despite receiving millions in an inheritance in which Trump lied about. His charm was not enough to save his marriage and his relationship with Marla Maples.
Trump’s tax returns during this period showed losses of over one billion dollars. Trump was running out of money to support his lavish lifestyle.
Born in Europe charming Glislaine Maxwell was a failing publishers daughter who’s gilded life was coming to an end since her father’s death. Maxwell was running out of money to support her lavish lifestyle.

Trump and Epstein in 1992
By the early 1990’s chance meetings with Jeffrey Epstein in New York City reversed both Trump and Maxwell’s pending fate. In 2019, Epstein was looking at life behind bars when he decided that ending his life would be a better fate. Maxwell and Trump are next in line for criminal court cases.
Richard Nixon Revisited

John Mitchell
Epstein’s story begins with an introduction by John Mitchell, former Attorney General to President Richard Nixon who served time for his role in the Watergate break in. In 1987 Mitchell introduced Epstein to Steven Hoffenberg.

Hoffenberg, former owner of the New York Post, hired Epstein as a consultant and was paid $ 25,000.00 per month. Hoffenberg and Epstein worked closely together and traveled the world.
In 1997, Hoffenberg was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for operating a bill collection agency that was also a ponzi scheme, bilking investors out of almost a half billion dollars. Hoffenberg claims Epstein was intimately involved with this scheme.
Epstein used funds from investors in the Ponzi scheme along with loans from Deutsche bank (fined for money laundering) to buy the properties used to lure the underage girls with the assistance of Ghislaine Maxwell.Epstein did not go to jail for his role in this Ponzi scheme.

Trump Epstein and Maxwell in the 1990’s
Trump's desire for sex
Trump bragged that he could do anything with women because he was rich and famous.
In a 1990 divorce deposition, Trump's first wife and the mother of his three eldest children Ivana Trump accused her then-husband of raping her in a fit of rage in 1989.
Kristin Anderson, a photographer and former model said Trump reached under her skirt and touched her vagina through her underwear at a New York City nightclub in the early 1990s. Anderson said her friends, who were talking together around a table at the time of the incident, confirmed Trump’s assault.
Cathy Heller told the Guardian in October 2016 that she was attending a Mother's Day brunch with her husband, children, and in-laws at Mar-a-Lago in the 1990s when Trump approached her table, introduced himself to her, and forcibly kissed her.
Jill Harth, a businesswoman who worked with Trump in the 1990s, told the Guardian in July 2016 that Trump pushed her against a wall, put his hand up her skirt, and tried to kiss her at a dinner at his Mar-a-Lago resort in the early 1990s.
Epstein meets Maxwell
Jeffrey Epstein met Glislaine Maxwell in 1992. Maxwell was implicated by several of Epstein’s accusers as recruiting underage girls in addition to being Epstein’s girlfriend. There is a video showing Epstein and Trump partying in late 1992. Trump is groping one of the girls.
In 1992 Trump and Epstein, at Trump’s request at Trump’s resort in Florida were the only male guests at a party with 28 women that were part of a calendar girl competition. Epstein was quoted as saying that he wanted to have a beauty contest similar to what Trump had.
Based on Trump’s statements the two pedophiles met a few years ago when they formed business relationships that included Paul Manafort and Deutsche bank and using offshore accounts.
In the late 1990s when Trump was running low on cash he turned to Epstein and Deutsche Bank along with manafort's political Connections in Russia to help fund Trump's failing properties. No United States Banks would loan Trump money with all his bankruptcies and lawsuits.
In the early 1990s Trump and Epstein were close friends according to Epstein's brother Mark, Trump and Epstein lived next to each other in Florida.
11 year old year girl kidnapped
Maria and her mother lived in Danbury Connecticut with their 9 siblings. Maria’s dad had died one year earlier. Maria’s mother died in 2015. Maria was kidnapped outside of Nash’s pizzeria on March 19, 1993. The girls kidnappers were involved in a child trafficking ring that provided young girls to wealthy individuals like Trump and Epstein. She was found with Jeffrey Epstein in Manhattan one year later.
In 1994, Maria Johnson was approached by an Epstein party recruiter while she was at the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street in Manhattan. She was told that she might become a model if she met the right people at a fashionable party.
Trump and Epstein Collaborate with young girls
I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it-Jeffrey enjoys his social life. Donald Trump 2002
In 1994, Trump was friends with Epstein for years. Trump had attended multiple parties at Epstein's New York residence that has been described as one of the largest townhomes in the city. It had at least 7 stories and as much as 50,000 square feet with at least 40 rooms. Plenty of private space to take advantage of the young and naive.
Trump and Epstein would throw parties at their Manhattan homes for mostly girls of all ages then luring them to a series of underage sex parties by promising them money and modeling careers.
Sex and the Summer of 1994
Several court filings indicated that a 13 year old girl named Katie Johnson (corroborated by Maria from Danbury) had at least four encounters with Trump and Epstein. Trump and Epstein forced Johnson to engage in various perverted and deparaved sex acts. The earliest encounter included having Johnson being forced to manually stimulate Trump with the use of her hand upon Trump’s erect penis until he reached orgasm.
Trump and Epstein's businesses take a hit
Trump was having a bad year financially in 1994. He sold the Plaza Hotel in New York for a 83 million dollar loss. Epstein’s was a principal in a bill collecting company was exposed as a Ponzi scheme that investors lost almost one-half billion dollars. However, Epstein was not charged.
2 children performing for Trump and Epstein
Trump and Epstein, undoubtedly in foul moods from their staggering business losses commenced to argue over who would take Katie Johnson's Virginity. Johnson overheard Trump calling Epstein a Jew Bastard and that Trump should be the one to pop Johnson’s cherry.
The third encounter had Johnson forced to engage in unnatural lesbian sex acts with her fellow minor and sex slave Maria from Waterbury. Maria was just 12 at the time.
Trump and Epstein had the two girls perform together because when Trump met Johnson during the 4th encounter Maria was not present. Trump warned Johnson that the same thing would happen to her if she did not perform or told anyone afterward.
Apparently Trump while losing Millions in real estate had won the contest with Epstein to see who would take the underage Johnson's virginity. During their fourth and final encounter, Trump took the 13 year old Johnson’s virginity. Trump tied Johnson to a bed with her pantyhose.
Trump responded to Johnson’s repeated requests to stop by raping her and slapped her on the face and screaming he can do whatever he wanted. After the rape, Johnson asked Trump what would happen if Trump impregnated her. Trump threw some money at her and told her to get an abortion
Epstein also raped the girl and in the process of assaulting the girl complaining that he should have been the one to take her virginity.
Despite what Trump told Johnson about Maria it turns out that Maria became a paid agent by Epstein. Maria was employed by Epstein for over 10 years. Her job was to witness and supervise sexual encounters between Trump and Epstein and underage girls.
Trump and Epstein repeatedly told Katie Johnson that she and her family would be killed if they ever spoke about what happened. Johnson was told that Trump and Epstein were very wealthy, powerful man and indicated that they had the power, ability, and means to carry out their threats.
Trump’s sexual assaults continue into the late 1990’s
Former Elle advice columnist E. Jean Carroll accused President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her in a department store dressing room the mid-1990s. "The moment the dressing-room door is closed, he lunges at me, pushes me against the wall, hitting my head quite badly, and puts his mouth against my lips," Carroll wrote in an excerpt of her 2019 book,"What Do We Need Men For?".She went on, "The next moment, still wearing correct business attire, shirt, tie, suit jacket, overcoat, he opens the overcoat, unzipped his pants, and forcing his fingers around my private area, thrusts his penis halfway — or completely, I'm not certain — inside me. It turns into a colossal struggle."
Lisa Boyne, a health food business entrepreneur, told HuffPost in October 2016 that she attended a 1996 dinner with Trump and modeling agent John Casablancas during which several other women in attendance were forced to walk across a table in order to leave. As the women walked on the table, Boyne says that Trump looked up their skirts and commented on their underwear and genitals. Trump allegedly asked Boyne for her opinion on which of the women he should sleep with.
Two Sisters unheard cries for help
Maria Farmer remembers meeting Epstein at an art gallery where she was an artist. Maria was asked by Epstein if she had a father. Epstein hired Maria to act as a doorman for his New York Townhouse having people sign in when they arrived. One evening in 1996 Trump walks in and doesn’t say a word but kind of snickers as he glares at Maria. Epstein told Trump that Maria was not here for you. Farmer witnessed hundreds of girls arriving at Epstein’s townhouse many she estimated to be between 13 and 15 years old. Maria’s work relationship with Epstein enticed her sister Annie to Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico. Annie was only 16 at the time. She was told that Epstein was going to help her with College instead she defended herself against the unwanted advances of Epstein and Maxwell. Both Epstein and Maxwell gradually took advantage of the two sisters with massages and groping. The sisters reported them to the police but nothing was done for 10 years until Epstein was finally arrested.
Karena Virginia, a yoga instructor and life coach, told the Washington Post in October 2016 that Trump groped her as she waited for her car outside the US Open in New York in 1998.Virginia, then 27, said she overheard Trump talking with a group of men about her legs and that Trump then approached her, grabbed her arm, and touched her breast before asking, "Don't you know who I am?"

Trump and Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank which started in the 1870’s and went global about the same time that Trump started doing business with this large German Bank. Deutsche bank in the 1990’s started competing with the Wall Street Banks. The same banks that stopped lending to Trump because of his bankruptcies and lawsuits. Deutsche bank saw the price of getting into the global market was doing business with Trump.
Since 2003 American and British regulators ordered Deutsche Bank to pay penalties (the largest in banking history) for laundering 10 billion of Russian money.
Last November Deutsche Bank was raided by German law enforcement officers in a money laundering probe. Deutsche is currently under United States investigation on whether it complied with the laws regarding money laundering. Deutsche has been hit hard by these scandals and its stock is tethering losing all its value. If it is forced to turn over its records regarding Trump that will probably finish it off. Trump and his son-in-law Jarod Kushner’s accounts were flagged by Deutsche Bank's investigators but the officers above them did not proceed with investigating these two men. Tammy McFadden an anti-money compliance officer was fired by the bank when she brought up Trump’s and Kushner’s suspicious activity.
Epstein’s Island
Steve Scully worked on Jeffrey Epstein’s private Island for about 6 years starting in 1999. Scully was the father of three daughters who decided to leave his lucrative IT position because of what he saw. Scully had visited the island about 100 times during his employment. He saw revolving groups of young girls that were guests on the island. All over the island were an extensive collection of topless women images. The Miami Herald has identified 80 women who were abused by Jeffrey Epstein between 2001 and 2006.
Ghislaine Maxwell
With Epstein committing suicide, the new crimminal focus will be on his girlfriend during the 1990’s and beyond and Epstein’s circle of people that assisted in child trafficing that now number at least eight.
One of the under age girls that has filed a lawsuit indicates that she was working at Trump's Mar-a-Lago when she was approached by Maxwell about a way to earn good money, learn massage therapy, and get to know Epstein as a man who could give her a bright future. The girl indicated that she was trained by Maxwell and Epstein to become everything a man wants her to be.
A manager of Epsteins Palm Springs home indicates that he drove Maxwell to spas to look for young women who could do massages for Epstein, their code for sexual acts.
Maxwell is one of several co-conspirators listed in recent legal filings and is either cooperating with authorities to reduce her exposure or if she is evading authorities she is sure to be indicted shortly.
In early July of this year Epstein was arrested for the alledged sex trafficking of dozens of minors. In the criminal indictment federal prosecutors claimed Epstein and his accomplishes lured girls as young as 12 to his properties to perform massages then molested them and encouraged them to recruit other girls to return with them. The victims were paid a finder's fee. Hundreds of girls are involved with Epstein receiving as many as three massages a day..
According to Maxwell, Epstein had a video recording system in his New York Townhouse that was used to blackmail important people and leverage their sexual activities for future favorable business dealings.
A trove of court documents unsealed in early August 2019 detail allegations by an alleged victim of wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein that while working as a teenage locker room attendant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort nearly two decades ago she was recruited to give Epstein massages that often involved sexual activity.
Trump has indicated that all of the above girls are lying and that without providing any details to dispute their stories we should believe Trump when he says is is innocent. Trump has lied approximately 13 times a day or 12 thousand times since becoming President. Trump has lied more times than the 44 other Presidents combined with plenty of room to spare.
House panel approves impeachment inquiry rules.
On September 12th, 2019, the United States House of Representatives Judiciary panel voted to consider procedures for future hearings in the first step towards impeachment of Trump. The basis for impeachment include
Felony assault against underage girls
obstruction of justice
violations of the Foreign Emoluments Clause and Domestic Emoluments Clause of the United States Constitution;
conspiring with others to: (a) commit crimes against the United States involving the solicitation and intended receipt by the Donald J. Trump campaign of things of value from a foreign government and other foreign nationals; and (b) conceal those violations;
advocating illegal violence, giving aid and comfort to white supremacists and neo-Nazis, and undermining constitutional protections of equal protection under the law;
abusing the pardon power;
recklessly threatening nuclear war against foreign nations, undermining and subverting the essential diplomatic functions and authority of federal agencies, including the United States Department of State, and engaging in other conduct that grossly and wantonly endangers the peace and security of the United States, its people and people of other nations, by heightening the risk of hostilities involving weapons of mass destruction, with reckless disregard for the risk of death and grievous bodily harm;
directing or endeavoring to direct law enforcement, including the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, to investigate and prosecute political adversaries and others, for improper purposes not justified by any lawful function of his office, thereby eroding the rule of law, undermining the independence of law enforcement from politics, and compromising the constitutional right to due process of law;
undermining the freedom of the press;
cruelly and unconstitutionally imprisoning children and their families; and
making and directing illegal payments to influence the 2016 election.
It is believed this process will last through the campaign season next year with impeachment to occur in early fall 2020. Trump will be the first president to be impeached and sent to jail.
